Breathtaking Views of Cook Inlet & Denali
When playing our facility, you can use your Smartphone as a GPS device with one of the following Free GPS Apps. These apps feature exact yardages to the front, center & back of our greens, and are good for almost any course in the United States.
Simply click one of the logos below to be directed to the manufacturer's website to download the proper version for your smartphone (iPhone or Android). Once you find and select our course, it will be added to your 'favorite courses' for future use anytime you start the App. The Free versions are more than enough for most, but each company also offers a 'Pro' version of the App for a small, one-time fee. These versions will provide additional features & functionality such as scorecards, maps, hole flyovers & stat tracking. Be sure to read the descriptions on each manufacturer's website, and it's completely OK to try both!
Note: Using "Apps" like these allows easy access without the need of your phone's browser. More importantly, it's also less draining on your smartphone's battery life, and uses less "mobile data" from your carrier. Below are the links to each website, and a few screenshots:

Anchorage Golf Course
Golfers from all over the world enjoy a truly unique golf experience at Anchorage Golf Course. Located on the hillside overlooking the city of Anchorage, the course offers views of three separate mountain ranges. The legendary Denali (the tallest mountain in North America, previously called Mt. McKinley) can be seen on a clear day from many vantage points throughout the course. Visitors have a chance to see some of Alaska's booming wildlife population, including moose, fox, waterfowl, and even the occasional bear. The layout of the Anchorage Golf Course is as challenging as it is beautiful, providing 6,600 yards of rolling, tree-lined fairways that lead to well-guarded, undulating greens. The beauty of the course and its surroundings are second to none, and during summer months play can range from as early as 5am to after midnight.
The Anchorage Golf Course is located on the lower hillside of South Anchorage, where golfers face a 6600 yard test on a beautifully sculpted layout and dramatic views. This Public 18 Hole course was designed by renowned golf course architect Bill Newcomb, set in Alaska's "Anchorage Bowl".
The stunning backdrop is framed by magnificent views of the Chugach Mountain Range, the Anchorage city skyline, Cook Inlet, and Denali. The golf season runs from early May through mid-October, but the golf shop is open year-round. Are you ready to experience one Alaska's hidden jewels?

Anchorage Golf Course offers the best in equipment and apparel to compliment your game. Stop by our 2017 AGM Platinum Award winning Pro Shop before or after your round and browse through our brands. Our friendly staff will help you make start times, rent golf carts and help register you and your guests before each round of golf. We now offer club repair and regripping by our highly qualified golf professionals! Call the Pro Shop at 522-3363 for a rate quote.
Driving Range & Practice Facility
Anchorage Golf Course has the only grass driving range in Anchorage. We also offer two ball dispensers, one on each end of the range, for your convenience. The facility is also equipped with chipping and putting areas, which make it the perfect place to improve your golf game. Come practice, play and experience Alaska golf at its finest.
